London Overground sends cheeky Twitter reply to man running late for work
TODAY’S LESSON IN questionable customer service comes courtesy of the London Overground.
The rail network – which provides train services for Greater London – tweeted this response to an angry commuter who was rather unhappy that delays on the line were making him consistently late for work.
Dan Downs was outraged and, despite attempts by another person behind the Twitter account to apologise, immediately complained to Transport for London about the ever so slightly infuriating tweet.
The story was picked up by ITV London and The Evening Standard shortly before Downs took to Twitter to reveal that a representative for the transport network had contacted him to apologise.
Whoops!
We couldn't find this Tweet
We can only imagine what might have happened if they’d been dealing with Irish commuters.
